We are proud to share photos of the first version of the Impact Farm.
Since we launched the Impact Farm concept and shared with the world that we started building our prototype we have experienced an overwhelming interest from around the world.
The first Impact Farm is placed in the neighbourhood of Nørrebro in Copenhagen is now up and running, and we are ready to start growing. We already have different kinds of basil, parsley and cilantro thriving.
The farm will be at the location for a period of 10 months, where we will be collecting data with a primary focus on production capacity and energy and water usage. We will also host teaching and training workshops in the spring with the aim of starting a self sustaining social enterprise that creates green jobs. The produce will be sold to local restaurants and cafés and by springtime the local residents will be able to purchase live produce at the weekly food market just in front of the farm.
Contact us for more information about how to order an Impact Farm version 1.0 to be delivered by the fall of 2016.
